2026 Spring MCAT Prep Course

Washington State University (2020-2024) - Doctor of Medicine, Certificate in Leadership in Medicine & Healthcare
I’m passionate about helping premeds understand why the MCAT tests what it does and how to approach the exam with the mindset of a future clinician. My teaching style is all about clarity, strategy, and confidence-building. I love breaking down complex systems—especially the organ systems—and showing students how to connect concepts in ways that make the exam feel less intimidating and much more predictable.
When I’m not coaching or working on research, you’ll usually find me traveling, photographing new places, or hanging out with my two cats, Georgie and Lottie. I’m so excited to help you reach your goals and feel truly prepared for test day!

Boston University (2022-2024) — Master of Science in Medical Science
MCAT Score: 519
My biggest advice for the MCAT is to prioritize practicing the test, not just the material. Learning to balance content review with active practice, challenging myself with questions even when I was a still unsure, was a game-changer for me. My favorite MCAT topic is CARS! I’m an avid reader and enjoyed learning little bits of all kinds of subjects from the passages. When I’m not studying or working, I love to be outside, do something creative, learn languages, or spend time with my friends and animals. I have a husky/shepherd mix named Maya, who often appears in my sessions. I’m so excited to go on this journey with you all!

Keck Graduate Institute (2024-2025) - Postbaccalaureate Certificate
MCAT Score: 514
My MCAT journey started with a self-study plan that didn’t go quite as expected. After deciding to retake my exam, I knew I needed a new approach. I began reviewing content in Fall 2024 and enrolled in The Brem Method’s 2025 Winter Course. The structure, strategy, and mindset I gained from the course transformed my preparation and my confidence walking into test day.
As an athlete, I’ve found that preparing for the MCAT is a lot like training for a big game: it takes discipline, consistency, and mental toughness. I’m excited to coach you for one of the biggest game days of your medical journey.

MCAT Score: 515
My MCAT journey was quite the adventure; I actually took it twice! The first time around, I spent three months self-studying with resources like Reddit, YouTube, and Khan Academy. I learned a great deal about my own test-taking strategies, but I knew I could improve. While juggling a full-time job, I joined The Brem Method’s MCAT Course, which was a game-changer! It really helped me pinpoint my weaknesses and boost my score.
I decided to become an MCAT Coach because I understand how personal and challenging this process can be. I’m here to help you find a study plan that suits you best! It’s so easy to get caught up in other people’s schedules online, but this exam is really an individual journey. I especially love diving into the BB section because there’s so much you can figure out simply by focusing on the passage.
When I’m not learning about science or helping others with it, you can find me out for a walk or run with my dog. I can’t wait to work with all of you!

How high can your MCAT scores go?
Have questions?
We have answers.
Do I need to take this before the full Brem Method MCAT Prep Course?
No, but many students choose to. Foundations helps you enter our MCAT Prep Course with stronger content knowledge, clearer reasoning skills, more confidence, and a stronger connection to your peers and our team. If you know you want a smoother, less overwhelming start, this is a great first step.
Is this course right for me if I haven’t taken science classes in a while?
The Brem Method does not provide score guarantees. Your score is based on a number of factors, including your starting point upon entering the course and the amount of work you put in during and after the course. Frankly, we find the “score guarantee” policy provided by other companies disingenuous.
Is this a good fit for MCAT retakers?
Because we limit our course cohorts to 25 students, we will decide to end enrollment when the course is full or open up a second cohort depending on student interest. If we open up a second cohort for any given course, the cohort will take place in a second time slot within the start and end date listed. Any students that have already enrolled already will be given the option to switch cohorts if the time for the new cohort works better for them.
Can I take Foundations now and the Prep Course later?
Absolutely! You will have access to all of our resources for 180 days from the start of the course, so even if your MCAT timeline changes, you will have everything you need to be prepared for test day. We will also work with you to make sure you have a plan that reflects that timeline, even as it changes.
Will this cover everything I need to know for the MCAT?
The Brem Method provides video content review, UWorld QBank Access, and an option to add on the AAMC Exam Bundle (6 total exams + all practice Q Packs) as part of the course.
Is there homework?
The only additional resources you will need are a set of MCAT books - I suggest either Kaplan or UWorld. While not necessary, it may be useful for you to purchase additional practice exams. For these, I suggest the Blueprint Practice Exams.
Is CARS included?
Yes! During the first full week of the course, you will sit down with your dedicated MCAT coach and build an MCAT Study Schedule that fits your specific needs. Together, you and your coach will make adjustments to this schedule throughout the course as your needs change.
Who teaches the course?
Students are provided with course progress data, practice question progress to goal data, and section-specific performance data to help them better build and plan their MCAT study strategy.
Do I get 1:1 support during Foundations?
We use Slack as our communication channel during the course outside of class time. You can also communicate with your assistant coach over email.
How long will I keep access to the materials?
A typical class is 3 hours in length. To create the best learning environment possible, all students are encouraged to attend with your camera on whenever possible. The first 2.5 hours of class will include a combination of MCAT Content, MCAT Skills, and MCAT Practice Questions, usually with 2-3 short breaks built in. During the last 30 minutes of each class, we perform a small group recap activity led by Amanda or one of our assistant coaches where you will review key takeaways and complete in-class assignments.
Will this cover everything I need to know for the MCAT?
Each class has 1-2 hours of pre-class work to help you prepare for your in-class topics and 1-2 hours of post-class homework. This work includes The Brem Method specific work, as well as assigned UWorld Questions. You are expected to regularly be taking MCAT Practice Exams through the course as well.
Can I sign up for the Prep Course after I start Foundations?
Yes, I do! I love teaching and never plan on stopping.
Do you provide refunds?
Yes. Amanda holds two hours of office hours during each week of the course alongside the class times. Each assistant coach will also hold office hours, so even if you can’t attend Amanda’s, you will be able to get your questions answered!
