How the Brem Method Prepares You Beyond the Content
MCAT prep is not just a content problem. Most students who struggle on test day know more than their score reflects. The gap between what a student knows and what they score is almost always explained by three things that standard MCAT prep courses do not address:
Test anxiety and stress that disrupts recall and decision-making under timed conditions, even for students who performed well on MCAT prep tests during their study period
Inefficient study habits that create the feeling of progress without building the deep retention needed to apply knowledge across unfamiliar passages and question types
Poor test-day strategy, including weak timing management, passive passage reading, and no clear game plan for the moments when a question does not go as expected.

Take a Peek Inside Our Classroom
What You Actually Get Inside a Brem Method MCAT Prep Course
Every Brem Method MCAT prep course is structured around three hours of live instruction per session, with content, skills, and practice integrated into each class rather than siloed into separate modules. Amanda Brem designed every lesson herself, drawing on her 520 MCAT score and over a decade of coaching experience to make difficult concepts stick. Students leave each session with specific homework, UWorld assignments, and a clear sense of what to focus on before the next class.

The Coaches Behind the Brem Method MCAT Prep Course
Every assistant coach in the Brem Method MCAT prep course is a Brem Method graduate who scored competitively on the MCAT and was trained by Amanda to support students through the same process they completed. They are not generalist tutors or test-prep employees. They are people who sat exactly where you are sitting, used this exact MCAT prep framework to improve their scores, and know from experience where students get stuck and how to get unstuck. Coaches hold weekly individual check-ins, office hours, and are available throughout the course via Slack and email.
Study Resources with The Brem Method
Have questions?
We have answers.
Am I able to get a refund on the course for any reason?
We do not provide refunds on our MCAT courses for any reason due to the time, energy, and resources we provide for you upfront. However, we recognize that life does happen. If you need to drop out of the course, we will work with you to get you enrolled in a course that better fits your needs and timeline, either for free, or at a discounted rate depending on when you needed to leave the course.
Do you provide score guarantees?
The Brem Method does not provide score guarantees. Your score is based on a number of factors, including your starting point upon entering the course and the amount of work you put in during and after the course. Frankly, we find the “score guarantee” policy provided by other companies disingenuous.
What happens if the course fills up?
Because we limit our course cohorts to 25 students, we will decide to end enrollment when the course is full or open up a second cohort depending on student interest. If we open up a second cohort for any given course, the cohort will take place in a second time slot within the start and end date listed. Any students that have already enrolled already will be given the option to switch cohorts if the time for the new cohort works better for them.
What if I decide to change my test day? Will I still be able to attend class?
Absolutely! You will have access to all of our resources for 180 days from the start of the course, so even if your MCAT timeline changes, you will have everything you need to be prepared for test day. We will also work with you to make sure you have a plan that reflects that timeline, even as it changes.
What resources are provided in the course?
The Brem Method provides video content review, UWorld QBank Access, and an option to add on the AAMC Exam Bundle (6 total exams + all practice Q Packs) as part of the course.
Will I need additional resources beyond what is provided in the course?
The only additional resources you will need are a set of MCAT books - I suggest either Kaplan or UWorld. While not necessary, it may be useful for you to purchase additional practice exams. For these, I suggest the Blueprint Practice Exams.
Will I be provided with an MCAT Study Schedule in the course?
Yes! During the first full week of the course, you will sit down with your dedicated MCAT coach and build an MCAT Study Schedule that fits your specific needs. Together, you and your coach will make adjustments to this schedule throughout the course as your needs change.
What kind of data is provided to us in the course?
Students are provided with course progress data, practice question progress to goal data, and section-specific performance data to help them better build and plan their MCAT study strategy.
How do we communicate with Amanda, our coach, and our peers in the course?
We use Slack as our communication channel during the course outside of class time. You can also communicate with your assistant coach over email.
What are classes like?
A typical class is 3 hours in length. To create the best learning environment possible, all students are encouraged to attend with your camera on whenever possible. The first 2.5 hours of class will include a combination of MCAT Content, MCAT Skills, and MCAT Practice Questions, usually with 2-3 short breaks built in. During the last 30 minutes of each class, we perform a small group recap activity led by Amanda or one of our assistant coaches where you will review key takeaways and complete in-class assignments.
What work is required outside of class?
Each class has 1-2 hours of pre-class work to help you prepare for your in-class topics and 1-2 hours of post-class homework. This work includes The Brem Method specific work, as well as assigned UWorld Questions. You are expected to regularly be taking MCAT Practice Exams through the course as well.
What do The Brem Method Assistant Coaches do in the course?
Our MCAT Assistant Coaches are all successful Brem Method alumni who have been trained by Amanda to assist in the course.
You are assigned one of our coaches at the beginning of the course based on your preference and availability. You will meet with them individually for 30-45 minutes at the beginning and end of the course, as well as for shorter intervals each week, to help you build and execute your MCAT study plan, to answer any questions you have, and to act as an accountability partner as you go through the course. Each coach will also hold office hours and be available over email, in our TBM Slack Channel, and during class to assist however possible.
What if I want more time with my assistant coaches?
Currently, you will meet with your assistant coach for an hour during the first and last week of the course and for 15 minutes each week during the course. If you would like more time with them, you can purchase a tutoring package with that coach at a discounted rate.
Am I able to switch assistant coaches?
While we don’t recommend doing this, we always have at least two assistant coaches in our courses. If you NEED to switch, please reach out to anastasia@bremmethod.com and she will help you find the best assistant coach for you.
